I know I KNOW that Disney took everything Star Wars and made it there bitch but just for fun I wanted to do my take of what if they did made a Star Wars animated cartoon film back in 77. I don't know if I took there style dead on but hey I did my best. I drew the characters on gimp and drew the backdrop using Inkscape vector program.Side Note: I first saw the original 1977 Star Wars when it first came out at the NYC old The Loews Astor Plaza movie theater - s36.photobucket.com/user/JenM5β¦

This artwork looks Nelvana-ish (Remember the Nelvana produced animated segment in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special aired only once on CBS in November 1978? Now if only Disney and Lucas can agree on releasing on DVD and Blu-Ray finally that special).
Nelvana also produced 2 Star Wars cartoons in 1985-1986: Ewoks and Droids.
