Gah I love this pair too much. A quick AU-ish doodle - they're around 8yrs old I guess.

It seems like it would be such a twosided ship too; sweet innocent Mahiru x Sumireko and then... sexy steamy Sumireko x Shin'ya wowdamn get the BEEEESSST OF BOTH WORLDDSSS but then it's be kind of a harem in some ways.... The Banbas make for such... interesting ships lol. and Sumireko + sunglasses + her throne + dem bitches?!!? THIS IS THE BEST IDEA EVER I must draw this sometime

We all know Sumireko wants her own roomful of harem, hence those puppets. Queen-sama needs bitches.
But of course, once Sumireko has Mahiru/Shinya, the actual person, no need for dem puppets xDDD
Ikr? Haru was so badass in that episode. That's what I love about Haru, she's no usual damsel in distress, she can actually protect herself. She defeated Takechi, Shuuto, Shinya and Mahiru without Tokaku's help XDDD

Daytime snuggles and nighttime sexytimes ohoho. I'm sure it'd have its downsides too, like if she wants to go to the movies with Mahiru but then Shin'ya decides to pop out since it would turn night-time and Sumireko would say, "No Shin'ya, we're doing the movies tomorrow night x_x" Preeeetty much balancing dating what is essentially two people would take skillz. But Sumireko is the queen that gets all the bitches so of course she can handle it with her mad Spiderman skills and all. Meanwhile, the Banbas learn to SHHAAAARREEE and CAARREEE because SHARING IS CARING!!!
I finished the MadoHomu one I was doing so I totally can draw it now +_+ And I could add a tied up Haru at the foot of Sumireko's throne acting as a footstool. Because obviously the queen must torment her rival in queenliness. Even though Haru wasn't even really trying to compete. -shrug-
I'm still wondering how Queen-sama even got those puppets to begin with. The fact she has puppets of all her classmates reveals... interesting things about her. She obviously wanted her own giant harem. That is the only explanation. It's made even creepier when we consider how some people at first thought the Black Class members all died when they were taken out of the class LOL necrophilia time +_+ but yea Mahiru/Shin'ya would be much better bitches than the puppets. I guess Sumireko now has a closet stuffed with those puppets somewhere. Just imagine her trying to explain that if her family stumbled upon it haha. "SUMIREKO WHY DO YOU HAVE A CLOSET FULL OF CORPSES?" "THEY'RE NOT CORPSES DAD, THEY'RE PUPPETS OF MY FRIENDS I MEAN WHAT" "WHY DO YOU—" "Just don't even ask Dad x_x"
Well Tokaku tried to help with some of those but Haru ultimately was the one to deliver to final asskickery. Except Isuke kinda took care of Shin'ya at the end, but still, Haru put up a good fight, what with the slamming a door in Shin'ya's face and all. Still wondering how Shin'ya always found her. Freaky senses that one has, man. On some forums I read people complaining about how pathetic and weak and damsel-ie Haru was, but it's like "LOOK AT DIS. SHE CAN DO SHIT TOO. AT LEAST SHE TRIES!" (a lot of damsels don't even try lol, they just... sit there. But Haru makes an effort! Yay!). Though she really did kinda fail at the end with charging at Tokaku.. THAT SCENE BROKE MY HEAARRT ;-;.

Oh yes, downsides for sure. I mean, Sumireko can't really watch a late night chick flick with Shinya... the latter would just smash the TV XDDD while Sumireko can't really do anything... strenuous with Mahiru because the latter is just so adorable and naughty things is no no.
ikr? Sumireko is such a Queen~ Aww Haru as a footstool DX well I guess she deserved that at least for how the fight ended... not that I mind. Haru had every right to protect herself, in such a badass way
Sumireko's only hobby between being Ojou-sama and assassin is making puppets I guess. I'm more curious about what she's been doing with her Banba puppet after the said girl got expelled...
Wow, I can't believe people actually thought Haru to be weak. She's one of the strongest heroines I've seen... she actually managed to protect herself (it's more prominent in the manga too)
That ending -facepalm- don't even get me started. I'm completely ignoring the existence of ep12 except the awesome ED ofc

Oh, since everyone's 'episodes' were more upgraded than the anime: Kouko's arm got stabbed by Tokaku's blades during their fight; Shiena's background and her reminiscence of friendship with Haru makes her expulsion feel worse; Hitsugi being the dark loli she is bold of her love for Chitaru...
and so I'm sure Mahiru and Sumireko's back stories would be more... graphic >w>;;;;

yes, I'd love to see more character development! I'm quite happy with Kenmochi's. and since Mahiru & Sumireko are the only roommate pair (other than the main one) that lasted the longest, the mangaka should really give us more moments between these two >w<
