Well, Iβve had it up to HERE with XenophobiaPhobia pushers. They touted it as an antidote to xenophobia overdoses, but the cure is almost as bad! Iβm sick of BOTH!!! Get that shit off the market! Boycott! Boycott!

*some long piece of paper is pinned to the wall, a sign next to it saying "hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia"*
*The piece of paper has a text on it containing a lot of very, VERY long words*

Search it up, hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia in Dutch is our longest word of the online dictionary. And it is the specific phobia of long words
From Latin, it would loosely translate to
"Waterhorse (<--their word for hippo) monstrously big foot long word fear"

Probably, you can't tell me the maker of the word didn't just want to bully the people with the fear

If it's not too much to ask could you explain each and every one of these? It's a little hard to pronounce them and I've never heard of any of these phobias.

I mean... If you take phobia and replace it with phillia, that would change it to the fetish, so yeah... Pedophobia would be the fear of children

Yeah, try pedophilia and podophilia
People think you wanna diddle kids when you clearly wrote you would rather diddle their feet

When everyone can read it and also reads properly, yes
*says I, with only a single year of experience vecause I didn't think it was worth the fun if it meant worse grades in other subjects*

I had it as subject in my freshman year but chose the path that eliminated it so I could spend more time on other hard subjects... I really liked the teacher. I remember various words and can put tiny links, but not a lot

Oh, it was the first year after elementary for me and the teacher was amazing. He was encouraging, nice, not spineless, had amazing stories and we could keep him talking half the lesson and he'd still get relatively good progress done. He also somehow made socks in sandals look good and he reminded me of an old greek philosopher with hos he looked and dressed. He also lived in Africa for 8 years with his wife and kids he said. I really felt bad to not continue his class, even though I barely passed the tests because I really lived him as a teacher. He genuinely made me interested in a subject, even though I hated the himework and studying, and when I got a passing grade on a test or knew an answer, I was so genuinely happy. That man was just the light of my day whenever I had his class. He only gives Latin though, and I think maybe Greek and I don't go to that school anymore.

Yeah, but it's also kinda preparing you for the real world, I guess. You will not like most people, you won't dislike them either, but you won't like them and if they are forced to be around you and vice versa, that would get some friction. The nice teachers are just as good, though. They make you see that even things you don't like can be fun with the right people and even be an inspiration. And of course, they teach you that you don't have to be a dick and that you CAN get a job you love. I myself want to become a psychologist, but if I had wanted to be a teacher, I would make sure to do my very best for my students, as long as they do their best for me. They don't have to do good in my subject, but if they just show me they WANT to, I'll be happy to help them anywhere I can

I'm pretty sure that the general rule goes both ways actually... If it exists, at least someone has a fetish for it, but also at least someone has a phobia for it
