Cezanne Escalune, the White Dragon from Athros.Just a sketch made for the paper bag cover from our plate. I decided to post the original since the finished one is toned but in a lousy manner... So what the hell...
The paper bag got wasted because I put too many stuff in it. I think I'll try to make a sturdier bag next time...
Made from 2b pencils and lot of coffee... (Another rushed work)

You could get practice reference from really cool artists like Aoi Nanase of Angel Dust or Kosuke Fujishima of Ah! My Goddess! for the wings or better yet try getting reference from the rennaisance artists...

Advanced Critique again? You're trying to be the death of me... by the way, I can sympathize with the whole "coffee... pencils" bit... I have a lot of projects that I need to finish late at night. Thank Coffee... the new religion with over thousands of followers.
You have wings all your own, don't you? I love the feathered-scale looking wings... it's a nice little spin. It reminds me of Queltzacoatl... Aztec Feathered Serpent. But yeah.. I love the collision damage.. yet I don't quite understand why you made that circle for her hand... that would only happened with her body... unless her hand hit ground at the EXACT same moment as her body. Yet again: I'm not picking on your art, just asking questions and pointing out odd looking things.
Okay... I understand your lack of making her look hurt... mainly because she's really cute-looking and it would be a shame to see her all broken and bloody... not to mention her hand would be a shattered mess T.T That'd suck. Moving right along, what's with the screws and the talon-thing that's near her wing? Is that an alar phalange? Or is it something else? I'm confused. If you haven't already, please read my comments on your Ice Blue December (mainly the apology and explanation parts... I don't know how easily you get offended, so....)

Hehe, just to let you know I'm not offended or anything... I know what I'm doing once I put that thing "Advanced Critique Encouraged". I really want to improve on everything so no matter how hurtful somebody comments on my work it won't be a problem to me. Hehe, I actually smile on really hardcore critiques... So no worries just fire away...
I'll try to improve on the things you pointed out... I think I'll go back my table and practice to be better once more...
Oh yeah, just to explain the art, it's basically a cover for a paper bag design so no blood or gore needed since it wouldn't be marketable to sell comics with blood all over...
Her wings have these armor like thingies because she can use those as weapons... She's just suppoed to be eye candy since a paper bag is suppoed to advertise your product and catch attention...

Um, no problem. I just can't help but feel as though I've done SOMETHING wrong... But if you don't mind... I DO like the impact damage for the most part (Hell, this is one of the best pics I've seen from galleries that only uses graphite) So yeah. I dunno... *hrm*....
