Every once in a while, I have the random urge to actually break out my Prismacolors and do a piece in real media. They never come out quite how I like them, and are always a little bit messy and fucked up, but still, I rather like this one.It's my gemsbok character Iben. I love him to death, but don't draw too much of him. Fun fact? I love ungulates as much as I love bats and nagas. And that's a whole helluvalot of love.
Ahem, anyway. Iben. Teehee. He's rather grouchy, mostly stoic, and has absolutely no tolerance for cocky predator anthros, as they usually end up getting their teeth kicked in anyway.
Shh, it's my character. I'll make him however I damn well please

I keep coming back and STARING at this. In that slack-jawed, glassy-eyed, utterly-totally IN AWE kind of way.
I've never seen anything of yours done in realmedia until this. I demand to know why ok because you kick ASS with it. I keep staring at the texture on his neck. It's just... Utterly gorgeous. And I really love how there's no inklines on the background but there is for Iben. It makes him stand out really well.
