I had so much fun making this
wanted me to make a pic of Raja from Phantasy Star 4 because he's awsome
I mean c'mon, he rocks! At first he was like: What the freak did you do to my temple?!?! then after hearing their story he's all: I'll overlook the whole temple crushing thing if you let me come with you.
He must have REALLY wanted to get out of there. If anything, Chaz and party did him a favor.

Raja came into the party rather late and left rather soon after that... Sure you can have him permanently at the end, but my impression was that we don't have him around long enough to really get used to him. He IS the best healer, bar none. But more importantly, he's got more personality than, say, all the Sonic t3h Hedgehog characters combined... Ironically, I'm not joking.

I recently started playing the game again(thank you Virtual Console) and the last thing I did so far was meet Raja. It's been a while so I completely forgot if he was very useful for the short time he's with you. But yea, he does have a lot of personality. I even love his corny jokes.

in my version of Phantasy Star 4, Raja will be renamed "Su Rajan" & gain a monocle & an Ed Wynn styled voice with an old tone to it.

I find that the characters that the creators CARE about (i.e. they role-play as, create history for, imagine being in their place, imagine THEM being in one's OWN place, etc.) are the ones that are the most interesting.
Ever see the scans out of the old PS Compendium? PAGES and PAGES of character studies!! In other words, someone took the time to fully develop these characters because they ADORED them! Too many game designers make games JUST TO MAKE THE GAMES... lame. LAME I say!
