Tried out some new lighting techniques, and I have to say I turned out pretty good. but there's always room for improvements. I'm really happy with this painting, didn't stress me out too much, I have about 20 process pictures saved up, would you guys like me to make a process tutorial? let me knowedit-I made some slight changes to the hair.

Somehow the other version - where the light comes from down below - cought my eye. This one is just great as well, but prsonally I liked the other one better. In this one I like the soft blurry light at her back.

Yeah I kinda liked the other one too. I just couldn't decided between the two! but in the end I went with the light on top because I wanted to try some lighting techniques I've seen in some photos.

It's about the shadow, since she's closer to us than the wall, it might be higher up on her face than the wall in the background (or vice versa, it just seems like there needs to be some sort of separation).
If you're using a reference that contradicts what I'm saying then go ahead and ignore me, but there's my two cents. Keep up the good work
