Now, as you can see, I don't subscribe to the notion that "Germania is just Germany with longer hair." No, absolutely not, sir! Germania is the uber-sexy grandfather nation, the forefather of those sexy bastards Prussia and Germany!

This drawing took me a good day and a half of shading and blending with those little paper things, but it was most definitely worth it! Although it had been a while since I'd done a pencil shading, I also remember why I wanted to move into marker coloring so much!

Tools: Mechanical pencil 0.5, 6B pencil, Canson mixed media paper (not a good paper for pencil work, but oh well it's my fave).

I don't have any plans to color him since I don't have the right Copic colors for his armor and outfit... OTL
...maybe someday!

Yeah I changed the background... lets face it I absolutely suck at backgrounds. There's only one or two drawings on here I've done where I stuck with the background I picked, and even less amount of works where the background was actually done by me and not digitized. Resolution for New Years much? OTL
