Download for full view.This sculpture was commissioned by ~Kymodoke and I'm quite pleased with the turnout. The request was a small hot glue sculpture similar to this:

The coloration was to be kept unpainted except for the eyes, a baby blue gem in the middle of the forehead and gold horns, claws and wing membranes. I initiated the sculpting on the 16th of this month, and ended it yesterday on the 20th. Three days of sculpting and one day of painting. By the way, for all of you who aren't aware of this: My sculptures are constructed of a wire frame with layers of hot glue.

If you use the right paint, sure. I always prefer metallic spray paints. A clear coat after paint is also important.

I painted my panda but I used acrylic. I had to do several layers to get it to look okay. I've learned better now :3 thanks for the tips.

Thanks, and it's a metallic gold spray paint that I sprayed in the cap and manually painted on...

Meh, not terribly tedious with glue...There's a lot of room for error and repair, but it did take me some time...Thanks!...

The little darling just arrived today, it is absolutely adorable! She looks better in person than the pictures show! There are awesome little swirls on the side from the glue when it was created and the eyes sort of shimmer a little bit and I'm just amazed!

aw this one is so cute! I love the little cristall on his nose/forehead! Everything is so tiny and hes a bit golden <3 perfect !
