that's the funniest thing i've heard in a while and i had never thought of it that way. upon researching shiva's ffx garb, i came upon a picture that showed her with some kind of icicle structure on one breast and the other, because of the game's teen rating i suppose, was concealed by some amorphous purple blob. i thought the blob looked particularly crappy and decided against incorporating it.
shiva, to me, seems like some kind of mother nature/lady liberty figure and i wanted her to be asymetrical, so instead of making an icicle bra, i opted for an icicle attachment (?) hope that helps answer your question and thanks for the laugh!
