Hello Becky.
This is an awesome piece. Is it one you created yourself, or one you found somewhere. I'd like to talk to you about getting your permission to use this piece as a backdrop for one of my poems. If you could be so kind, would you please write me directly? My email address is LifeCoach67@gmail.com
Thanks!
Dave

It's Gaia, but the name comes from greek mythology. She is the titan of the earth

Gaea, Mother Nature and the connecting with the earth and spirits was originally of the Native Indians. This is a beautiful and creative piece of work.

Gaya is based off of the Greek Goddess of Earth "Gaia." Gaia is in relation to Mother Nature, because she is the deified personification of Earth. This is why the "Gaia Project," has to do with recognizing Earth and those one it as one, living organism requiring a re-connection with Earth as a part of our entity [it is a spiritualist ecomovement].

Your thinking of Gaia. Many meanings, but she was a greek goddess personifying the Earth. Gaia is also a scientific hypothesis about the stability of natural systems on Earth.

All I knew back then was that 'gaia' means 'earth' because of some anime I used to watch before.
Nice photo by tha way. I love how traditional art meets photography here. Who did the paintings?

"gaya" is a city in india
"gaia" is the primal Greek goddess personifying the Earth.
Thank you, google.

Nope Gaya is the name of the mother nature. The X-Series is just using it, they didn't invent it. I think Storm is calling it because her powers come from the nature.
