Here's the completed mask of Artemis, Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt!It's hard to tell from the picture, but I used some iridescent highlights all around the helm section. I wanted to make it feel ethereal and to reflect the moon. A touch of green to hint at the hunting and forest nature of the goddess and I did a marbled gold texture on the antlers since her deers were said to have golden antlers
This is my second largest mask (the largest being Anubis) and I was glad that the antlers were strong enough to stand on their own. Definitely a fun experience and I hope to make a few more of these!
Made from 8oz tooling leather and painted with acrylics.

I did some experimenting to get the marble effect. I basically did a lot of layering. Starting with the base color (white) and then a mid-tone gold and then putting in dabs of brighter gold.
And thanks for the interest! I will post an update when I get around to setting up an etsy (I'm too tentative about doing that lol).
