Little blue angel, with little blue wings;You thirst for adventure, see what the day brings.
Watching with marvel, I wish so that we
Could fly off together and forever be.
But the earth calls to me, and I stay on the ground.
I like it down here. But when no one’s around,
I wish to the goddess that we were as one,
And I could fly with you under her great sun.
You smile with a smile as though you might know
I want to be with you, wherever you go
And though we may never know such harmony
At least we’d have now, for a moment be free.
As if in answer to my secret prayer,
You scoop me up with you and take me up where
Winged creatures like you fly far above the roofs.
You’ve finally swept me off of my hooves.
Don't worry, after the shock wears off, she'll find that's flying is kinda fun...hopefully.
