As ill advised as it is to counter the artist comments, it is special. The use of colors are exceptional, the expression on her face, serene. The patterns on her top intriguing without drawing anything away from the rest of her, with the cross earring well balanced in size and choice of color. Large, yet not enough to overpower the rest of what is going on this image whose overall feel is, to me at least, a sense of peace with oneself. Great full lips and the line of eye shadow, instead of covering the eyelids, lends the notion of individual beauty, not concern with convention.
