Try messing with control levels abit on Photoshop.. but sometimes theres no way of getting back the original colors >_< Thats the downside.

yeah, that's what i had to do for this, it came out very light otherwise just originally scanned. i'm also not sure my scanner is the best but i'll have to play around with settings.

Yeah, scanning watercolors really suck @__@ But this is such a gorgeous piece! I love the lack of lines defining her hair and shoulders <3

Have you tried setting up your camera on a tripod and shooting the piece? Might turn out better that way if you can get the right lighting/settings.

i'm thinking about it, if i had a light tent it would come out pretty fabulous i bet. i'll have to look into getting one.
