This drawing is made in honor of the 74th birthday of one of the most extraordinary and brilliant musicians I've ever heard, and my most favorite music artist ever. He's a knight, a Rocket Man, and Captain Fantastic. That's right, I'm talking about the one and only Sir Elton Hercules John.

"Legend" isn't even enough to describe this exceedingly talented and wonderful man. His phenomenal music genius has inspired so many people, including myself. He has influenced me as a person and as a piano player, and I never get tired of listening to his incredible songs.

I never actually drew Elton John before so this was my first time ever (and it wasn't easy, because he has had so many crazy yet iconic looks over the years so it's had to choose). Surprisingly, it turned out much better than I expected.

Thank you, Elton, for the music you've blessed our world with and for inspiring and helping so many people in this life. Never stop being you and never stop being epic. How wonderful life is while you're in the world.
