full view pleasethis is my little sister.
(my dad used to sing tom petty's song "wildflowers" to me all the time when i was little. he'd play his guitar and i'd dance across the sidewalks all down the street - i'll never forget it.)

Wow. Such a beautiful piece. The eyes in this photograph are what get me. They seem so innocent, so wide with wonder; yet there is a darker side to this photo. Her mouth is set not in a smile but just a softer version of a frown. But it is not her mouth nor the color that has you captivated. It is all about her eyes. Great usage of color. Her red lips, the cool greens, and darker blues just add to the picture. As well as the different textures. The sharpness of the grass in the frame, the softer blend around her eyes, and the fading of the rest of the photo. As if it's not important that it's there.
I enjoy this piece because it feels as if there are two sides to it. One with your sister just being a little girl, innocent and wondrous. The other where it feels like she's hiding a secret from the rest of the world.

I like the haunting quality of this. Those EYES are amazing. WOW. Those eyes seem to see a LOT. The colors are a tad dark, did you intend this effect? The dark red lips tell a different story than those eyes, something feral maybe?
It's good---makes you think; which is one of the things art is about.
