Here comes the master of picking-up-scrap-papers-and-decorating-them. I swear, I can't get out of that habit, you would be shock by the amount of scrap papers that I pick up from recycled bins in school and then use to draw on (95% of my artworks on here are all on scrap papers). <3Here is a quick little sketchie of my Gaia avatar on yet another piece of A5 scrap paper

this is breath-taking! such detail... wow! I used to draw on scrap paper when I was a kid, my mom would bring home paper from work (I could only use one side, but it worked...LOL)
I have to use retouching when the camera or scanner doesn't pick up my work well... grrrr but for a 'quickie' this is awesome! instant fav!

Yeah, I like to use the leftover scrap paper that I find in my school folders ^^
Scanners generally doesn't pick up a lot of details, that's why I rely so heavily on photoshop when it comes to touching up the picture ;D

First of all, I can't tell that you used scrab-paper. Secondly, amazing details and great overall-style. Third, I can't imagine how this is a "quickie"!! O.o

One thing I love about your stuff is the amount of detail you put into it. Seriously, it's the sort of thing I could stare at. And then when I'm about to look away I notice something I hadn't noticed before and have to look at it some more.

yeah i use a water bottle too so I don't really care,
but I remember in PE in 9th grade we had a water break and we didn't have any cups for the water =A=
Then Mr. Bergman said that there should be a cup for "Shoot the Rooters" lol

Ah, you're not the only one. Some of my official works are drawn on scrap paper. There was even this time when I drew them on ruled paper, and I took the trouble to remove them in Photoshop. Anyway, this is really pretty, and wonderful work, as usual. I just have a little comment on the face. Her nose and mouth should be facing a bit more to the right, I think, comparing them to the eyes and chin.

I think I should start using more scrap papers.... before we used to use all those leftover one-sided printouts.... and then migrated to use new A4 paper.... now all my proper works are on card paper... it's just more... durable. I mean, if you started a sketch on a chocolate-wrapper, then it bloomed into masterpiece, then you'd hope with all due cause that you'd started the drawing on something more "official"... or maybe not, who knows... anyhow, once you start trying card paper, you won't really want to go back.
