Hey guys, merry Christmas!!And because it's the holiday season I'm able to work on some personal stuff... and I decided to make some fan art to cope with the bittersweet memories that Undertale left me with. Most profound gaming experience since Ocarina of Time back in 1999, I'm not kidding. Toby Fox is now a hero to me. The way he created such a living and breathing world... it makes me awe and wonder.
Anyway, I see a lot of fan art about the world, but I felt the world itself is a bit under represented, so as a background guy, I thought it nice to give Snowdin a shot, showing what my imagination makes out of the excellent pixel art... I hope you guys like it!

Gah! Your works are beautiful! You're really good at create and atmosphere/backgrounds. I always totally wimp out on backgrounds (I prefer characters because I always murder perspective when drawing rooms) but you gave a really clear sense of the snow falling in the caves/the entire feel of living there. And all the adorable background characters! It's like a snapshot right out of the game. I love it!

So cool to hear that somebody noticed that, indeed, I've tried to draw as back as possible, those tiny white dots beyond the bridge are the puffs of snow Greater Dog is hidden.
And nothing wrong with focusing on Character design, but if you think of backgrounds as a kind of character in it self, and how this 'character' interacts with your other characters it can make scenes much more alive.
