Gogos is one of my all time favs. His work on FMOF was some of the stuff that got me started!
I met Basil back in 2005. Some of the stuff he taught me in less than an hour has stayed with me !
He is a wealth of information!

I wish I had seen more of Basil Gogo's work.

Fantastic use of colors. Really brings out the sinister expression.

God rest Lon Chaney. Definitely a man dedicated to his artform

I was kinda worried about it at first, my girfriend hated it..."too many colors" she just doesn't understand.

and I did not want to over do it with the colors (if that's possible)

I do admire him too....he was doing that kind of thing way before anyone else wasn't he? I think you did well capturing the look. I wish I could do some more of that type of work, maybe I can. I tried to capture it with the Mr. Spock drawing I did, but wasn't all that successful.

Ya know what... I had a BLAST doing this... I just did so loose and figured "oh well if I screw it up... I'll just trash it"

It was so much fun to not try and be so meticulous like I always am!

I think I might do some more.... when I have time of course.
