That is so beautiful that I have to sigh when I look at it lol. Not a bad thing at all.
It is like a beautiful painting and that is what I thought in the thumbnail.
Props to the both of you.

If you were trying to get her to look just like those Renaissance portraits... well, you succeded! Even down to the soft shadows on the face, they remind me of Leonardo Really nice.

It doesn't matter, the idea was to reproduce the atmosphere and technique, not to produce something that would actually be taken as a 1500 painting And he did awesome at that. Somehow the jeans don't bother me

i fully agree with you !
in fact i showed this picture to my mother hidding the bottom part with the jean's and she thought it was a painting
anyways, i like this little peace of 20th century in it, it gives the picture its very own personnality !

I agree with GreenSprite. The jeans and the modern dress are an update to the old Renaissance portraites. I think this is an extraordinairy photograph. It's very gorgeous in its simplicity, or something.

The model is stunning in her natural look (I don't think she's wearing makeup), and the photographer caught her perfectly. This is very well done.

Of course, these are my opinions, and I don't have any background in photography.

this pose is amazing and the low contrast and grain texture make it look very smooth.
I like this one a lot !
