Commission for the lovely ArokhCrimsonwing
They gave me complete freedom with the concept. So I came up with this!...
...only to find out that the character doesn't actually have any 'breath' weapons.
But it's ok! This character knows magic, and can cast spells. So we went with that!

Lemme start with that NEAT background! I love it. I just love it! The colors you've chosen are perfect, they go well together and everything looks like a lovely morning in the misty mountains. :>
The mountains themselves are nifty aswell! Cool shapes, awesome shading and great composition!
Now the dragon...I love your dragons, you're so good at them. ;.; And this fella here is exceptionally pretty! 
His wings are so huge and so pretty and awawawa... ;.; And his head! That's, aside from the pose, my favorite part! These details with the frills and horns are great, but the mouth is the best part! I love the pointy theeth and how the fire comes out...WHICH ALSO JUST LOOKS SO SPARKLING AND EPIC AND HWOWWJFIOH...!!
I really love the outcome of this! It's so awesome and wonderful! Well done, dear!
p.s. shame about the fire breathing part...ahahaha. XD

Was trying something new with the background, with more 'pastel' colours, so I'm happy you think it looks ok!
I'm glad you like the sparkle fire too.

The detailed markings look awesome, I love how they feel like they're glowing! That rear splayed foot is so well done and as always your skills with wings is amazing. Awesome work!

ANOTHER CUTIE PATOTIE DRAGON
I really like this picture for the contrast of his fire breathing with the blues of his body. Plus the pose you chose and how you drew it, su fluently, really catches the eye! Moreover, the natural earthy colours of the background with such strong colours as black or blue
