Flashkit is the most quiet and softspoken of his siblings, and is much less hotheaded than either of them. He isn't exactly shy, per se, but prefers to sit back and listen instead of jumping headfirst into a situation without putting in any thought. He is unbelievably playful and loving, and is especially close to Brightkit, who he loves to snuggle on top of and cuddle with at night and play and wrestle with during the day, but he absolutely loves Russetkit as well.
His compassion is almost matched only by his curiousity-he shares Brightkit's wonder of everything that goes on beyond the nursery and loves to listen to any sort of stories that any cat might spare. He's content with Brightkit being the leader of the little trio and will eagerly accompany her and Russetkit on any outing or idea of adventure.
Any sort of fighting or conflict makes him uncomfortable (often clear by his ears drooping and tail hanging low) and he tries his best to keep the peace, especially between Brightkit and Russetkit who are constantly bickering with one another, over who's whose favorite and who is better and who is the best at pouncing and everything imaginable. He loves them both more than anything and is happiest when they all get along.
He loves to wrestle and play with the both of them, and is the most outgoing when he's with his mum, dad, and siblings. He is constantly cheerful and optimistic and rarely seen upset (unless, of course, his brother and sister are fighting...again).
Flashkit adores both of his parents and loves snuggling and cuddling and being as close as possible to them.
He has a habit of, when curious, tilting his head to the side.

Flashpaw has grown gradually more serious since taking up the position of Medicine Cat Apprentice, and has taken the responsibility with full force. He dedicates almost all his time training, and often goes out of his way to run through the herb store, memorizing herbs and their uses, even when Emberstripe isn't around. He is still just as thoughtful and inquisitive as usual, and still has the habit of trusting cats' words without hesitation. He expects the best out of every cat, so may not understand if a cat has malicious intent. Though his apprenticeship has physically made him more distant from his siblings, he is closer than ever to his sister, Brightpaw, and still cares for his brother, Russetpaw, even though the two brothers aren't as close. His habit of tilting his head to the side has grown more common, and when thoughtful, occasionally rubs the side of his muzzle with his right forepaw.

Description:

Flashkit is a relatively small tomkit with medium length, creamy yellow-orange and slate fur, accented with white paws a white tipped ear and a small white blaze up his face. He has a bicolour nose and a collar of white around his neck, an a fluffy white tailtip, along with speckled/patched/bicolour pads. His eyes are a vibrant turquoise, and are often wide with curiousity and innocence.

Flashpaw has grown into a handsome young tom, but is still relatively small for his age.

History:
Before he was born, Flashkit visited StarClan upon Kindlestar losing one of her lives in the flood. He has no conscious memory of this, though he often talks about dreams he's had-never quite clear and none whole but always in some sort of cool, starry place, as if a hint of a memory of that mysterious place lingers on the edge of his mind.
Sometimes if he really lingers on these thoughts, a ghost of a memory returns...
something like...cats with stars in their fur? But surely that can't be right.

As Flashkit grew, his connection and memories of these cats grew stronger and more intense...and no longer were they just memories swirling around in the back of his mind. It seems he and StarClan are connected in some sort of way, something that even he doesn't fully understand yet. His connection to StarClan has grown ever stronger, and though he doesn't quite understand how drastic this connection is, he treasures it. Most nights he spends in StarClan, learning and discovering skills he didn't realize he had. He is closest to the former FireClan warrior, Falconsky. His connection is not all roses and fresh mice, however. If any StarClan cat is hurt or anything drastic happens in Silverpelt, he can sense it. This can cause many sleepless nights.

Upon turning six moons, Flashpaw was made the medicine cat apprentice - an honor he does not take lightly. Flashpaw has grown gradually more serious since taking up the position of Medicine Cat Apprentice, and has taken the responsibility with full force. Recently, during one of those sleepless nights - one more intense than any others - he found his sister Brightpaw sensed something was terribly wrong as well, which lead to each of them revealing their powers to eachother, and thus have grown ever closer. What the future holds, however, is uncertain.
