It's the combination of the trees, snow and the colors that does it for me. I know what you mean, like you I'm more a nature person.

It probably is, but I am not familiar with the area. I was looking for a store and saw the flag, got my camera and thought as long as I was out, I'd look around. I heard a police car pop the siren a couple of times and I knew I had parked in a "less than legal" location so I left after a short time. There wasn't any ticket so I got away with that one.

Yes indeed! One time I parked near the entrance to a utility power station (the road led into the woods) and the people living on the street called the police to check it out. The officer even went down the road looking for me but didn't find me so he went away. No ticket that time either, the car was legal but the property was "No Trespassing". A nice lady saw me when I came back and told me.

Yes, it was a close call! I do get a little nervous sometimes. There are some really nices houses I'd like to take a picture of but I feel too strange to do it.

Thank you. I did get some tunnel shots but I don't like them as well. While I was working on this one, I zoomed in fairly quickly right down the tunnel. It was an interesting effect, with the light and dark blinking by. I am wondering if I can make an amimation out of it or if the loss of quality will be too much. One of these days......
