Description Did you know that a trombone can do magic, when played by a true magician?
Well, listen to Gianluca Petrella's music and you shall know.
From classical jazz to improvisation and daring arrangements, nothing is impossible for this young musician, who can give you thrills when playing as a soloist, as well as band leader or in a supporting role.

Gianluca Petrella

Superbe (the french one)

Arghhhh! another "obligational" photo I have to work on!
Stephano, I can't keep on spending my time on these pieces, you want me to stop working?
so please send me a bigger view (in Raw if you don't mind) and I'll have my lawyer write all the copyright papers (as usual?).

well thank you bro - such an enthusiastic comment from a true artist like you is something that can make one's day, and it made mine indeed.

ok Steph! thanx man! and keep them coming
I went last week to a Photograph expo, titled "capture of emotions" and that dude sold most of his shots, while none of them was better than your top "jazz series" shot
So you know what to do right?

yes i have to take shots of something that cannot claim copyright fees for themselves, if i want to sell my photos. i don't want to be jailed.

seriously, if i ever should sell any of my concert pics, it would be fair to give the musician a part of the money, since those pics would "sell" not only because they're supposedly meaningful and/or expressive, but also (if not mainly) because of the "face" they portray.
and sincerely i would not know how to do it.
the only way would be to have a model release from every single musician, that gives me permission to use the photo to make money. i could get such a release from the musicians i know personally (who incidentally are also those i could easily show some gratitude to), but most of the musicians in my shots i wouldn't even know how to get in touch with. and i must say that no one of those i sent emails (not to ask anything, but to offer them my shots for free) even answered...
