His mental failings actually play a big part in the story as a whole.

The Zerg are awesome but I developed the idea of the Hive before I ever played Starcraft. They are actually a creation that involves the combined DNA of roaches, ants, bees and reptiles.

okay, that sounds like the tyranids from warhammer 40k, which makes sense, seeing as blizzard ripped off the tyranids when they made the zerg

controversy my ass, they completely ripped off the eldar, space marines and tyranids,
hell, games workshop sued blizzard and won, they get royalties every time starcraft merchandise sells
that doesn't mean starcraft isn't totally awesome, it is, but warhammer is better (but only if your willing to devote the time and the shitload of money required to build an army) tau are the best

There's a Warhammer game out for the 360. I think I'll check it out.

if its an rts don't bother, those always suck on consoles (with the exception of halo wars)
ive never actually played a 40k video game, but i have a standard sized space marine army for the actual table top game, though its not painted

My friend played the table top and I just could never afford to sink that kind of money into it.

My brother knew a guy who spent around $10,000 on his collection but he also had a building in his backyard that was set up just to play Warhammer.

I guess it does but G.I. Joe is a cultural icon and when you have any two organizations facing off you tend to compare them to classics.

In a way yes it is because you have two organizations going at each other but unlike [link] the upper hand is held by the villians and the majority of the world is on their side.

I wouldn't go that far because the good guys in my story are the ones who have to stay hidden and underground in some cases.

It wouldn't be if you could know the whole story.
