Where do you think the Surprise in her name comes from? Pinkie named her after her Granny Surprise Pie! (My headcanon is that Surprise is Pinkie's grandma)

I LOVE IT. Officially.
I always thought Granny Pie was pink, and taught her all the wild stuff she knows and great stories, but there's no reason she couldn't be Surprise (or Surprise might be her great-grandma.) But I do love to think that G1 is related to G4, and the Pegasususus connection might explain her ability to get airborne.
