i hope this is the right category....this is a pair of shoes i bought and decorated. All the decoration on the front was made by me. The shoes are a lovely coral colour and perfectly shiny and smooth (no wrinkles or anything) they fit me fantastically as well so I'm keeping them.
I do, however, have plans to sell customised ones, depending on availability of cheap, good quality shoes. Would anyone be interested if I did sell them, d'you think? May be more info on this as I figure out how to work my Etsy...I also have made some pumps in this style as well, but I have worn them several times and they are now pretty tatty so I won't show those, haha.
Anyway, my friend actually helped me to come up with the idea of these and i was so excited I made them.
I proper want to eat them. D:

Dunno if this'll post successfully but I'll try anyway XD I remembered these the other day and decided to try and make my version of them tooo! So far so good though they're not finished; they'll be on my other Facebook account when I'm done. Anyway, I'm making the fruit out of Fimo Light which seems to be coming along okay! I've stuck some wire loops in the clay that I'll be handstitching to the shoes somehow when I'm done painting it (only Primark shoes but I've stitched lace and ribbon on already so I'm guessing you could do it with others) and then I might put a dab of superglue on just to be sure.

Lol that's quite alright XD I have pictures of my first pair, will upload them when I can be bothered to do all the complicated stuff necessary to hook up my phone... because I took them really quickly before the recipient had to leave so I only got phone pictures

They are made of polymer clay and silicone.

These are just so creative! I'd be terrified of wearing them for fear of ruining them, but you work so well in so many mediums, you crafty bugger you!
They just look like they're varnished with sugar, they're that shiny and edible! Especially nice work on the cream, it looks like you could just dip your finger into it :3

I think there is the danger of them getting broken if they were like, stepped on or kicked violently... but I think from their appearance it's clear it wouldn't be a good idea to wear them clubbing or something? I am worried about ripping people off when it comes to selling them... but I do hope common sense on their parts would prevent any terrible accidents. D:

They look so great! The 'toppings' of the shoes match the shinyness of the material the shoes are made of. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but they look amazing either way ^-^

Ah yes! The land of very affordable clothes! It's a shame they don't still do them, I'd imagine that they were really cheep compared to everywhere else - shoes are so expensive x____x

It would honestly depend on how much they cost, plus shipping. Cause I quit my job to have more time for school... thus my funds are rather limited :S
Haha, that's fair about the materials. But how durable is it? You said your other pair had gotten tatty... Just concerned about buying some and then having them look dirty after a few wears, etc etc
but srsly I'm def interested in ordering a pair. Or 17.

Oh, well they are mostly tatty because I walk around barefoot all the time so I tend to get black soles...
And maybe don't wear them in the rain ? Not because these shoes particularly are prone to water damage, simply because rain can make any shoes dirty.

Umm well I was thinking, assuming the shoes cost the same as these did, i'd say about £40 for a customised pair... D: which comes out at about $63... just because I need to take into account all the materials I use and I want to make some profit... D: That's quite a lot I guess...

iii wear around a US size 6. But oftentimes with heels I'll wear even smaller (I like my pumps to not fall off my heels
