~sorrywasntlistening as Nana Osaki from the anime/manga NanaNana really took me by surprise.. On the surface it seemed like a typical girlie bullshit drama show...
I decided to give it a chance. After I watched the first episode I got the entire show and watched the whole thing in about 2 weeks time with my best friend.
Nana is currently one of my all time favourite anime shows. The characters are real.. deep.. and face real life problems. Problems that often aren't covered by most shows out there, at least not in the way Nana does.
Regardless of gender, you need to check out Nana.

YES! I was at a holiday house by the beach, which i barely noticed as i began watching the anime someone had bought me, Nana XD That was a good, if not emotional, holiday.
The ending of the anime really crushed me, and i haven't been bold enough to pick it up again through the manga...
And of course, i love this shot!!!
