7 things that Ash and Misty did (Well in my canon).
1. They take care of each other.
2. They always battle each other in Pokemon battles and other competition stuff. But mostly they work together as a team.
3. They care about each other even when the two of them fight. Just like "Nure Joy" said in the episode "Electric Shock Showdown". Can't deny on that.
4. She helped Ash to become a better trainer (Even if some things didn't go well) and he appreciates it.
5. Yes, they didn't get along good. But they slowly learned how to work together and then fell for each other.
6. Ash confessed that he had feelings for Misty. She felt the same way to Ash. They fell in love for each other and are in a relationship.
7. Ash and Misty have gotten married and had a kid named "Veronica" years later. (In My AU/canon. Also happened in the original trailer of the first Pokemon Movie (Mewtwo Strikes Back). That pink-haired girl is still a canon character and Ash & Misty's daughter.
