and sunflower seeds.... and just about everything else not nailed down.. really pretty bird.... but i think it is the canadian version of the kukaburra bird for the noise it makes.

lol .... yup ... I didn't realize they have sort of a "pouch" like a chipmunk only under instead of on the sides. This guy would stuff it full of peanuts so it was totally bulging out and then fly off to I guess stash them ... lol

i had a jay squaking right outside my kitchen in a tree very close to the exhaust outlet for my hoodfan above my stove..... i thought a whole flock of austrailian kukaburra birds had arrived... it took me forever to figure out all that noise was coming from this blue beast....
