love him! one question.. how did you make the back feathers on the back of the head stick out if its on an armature? just asking because im planning on making my own doll. what tool do you use to make the feather textures if you don't mind me asking?

I don't quite understand what you mean, do you mean the feathers/fur on the top of his head or the feathers of his wings? and do you mean the feather textures on his face??

i means this. if you look at the clay face, how do you get those feather textures right below his ear's that curl up ( look at the picture of the griffin on the bottom right and you'll see.)

Ohh, I see. All I did was add extra sculpey at his face there and smooth it out to a point like tjat if you get what im saying. The feather textures on the clay are made by just making little cuts with a sculpting tool, and the fact that they curled was from baking.

oh, ok thanks! by the way, do you make the face hollow and then attach it to the armature, if so... how do you do it? (do you put tin foil on the armature where the head and feet go like i do?)
