This is probably the most creative Marilyn Monroe parody I've seen. Like, every other parody I've seen is either a fictional lady (or guy with a labcoat), or a redraw of Marilyn herself in the artist's own style. The fact that you chose an art piece that some people probably don't know about (I only learned about the Woman/Venus of Willendorf this September in an art history class) made it stand out from the rest. Good Job.

So simple yet so very clever. Sex symbols, both of 'em. Why the hell did I never think of it??

Great comparison! I never thought of the two before related in such a way, but it works. It definitely works.

Oh I absolutely love this. I saw this piece and it put a huge smile on my face. The Woman of Willendorf is my favorite piece of ancient Near-Eastern art.
I like that you took a symbol of fertility and ancient beauty (Woman of Willendorf) and showed her in a modern setting which we now consider beautiful (Marilyn Monroe-esque).
It just shows what we value nowadays; skinny, toothpick-like female figures. It's a shame that women (and their shapes) that are suitable for bearing children are no longer widely appreciated.

Viewing this through the scope of art history, it's absolutely wonderful. Hilarious and important take on the figure. Great stuff!
