Not the case this time, but I always share this great piece of advise I heard from a writer:
When feeling uninspired... write about your lack of inspiration! The writer's block will fade away in no time.
Best of all... IT APPLIES TO ALL ARTS (or problems alike)

It's a bit of a McKean tribute isn't it (except for the Tell Me Dark reference, in which case it would be Williams)?

In the bookshelf you can find McKean, Clowes, Ware, Spiegelman, Cooper, Williams...
But in the very end, stylishly, McKean is more present than anybody in this picture.

It very much reminded me of some of the work he did for the album sleeves of Bill Bruford and Iain Ballamy. And I mean that in the most flattering way possible.

lied I actually applied this one time for a paper in college were they gave us a limited amount of time to do some creative writing and, of course, my mind went blank. It was actually better to write about panicking about the block. It ended up being turned into a 2-page comic story for the same class.
