¤Weapon: He always carries some knife just in case, but he can virtually summon any weapon he wants if necessary.
¤Abilities: (by order of discovery)
x Floating / flying: He can defy gravity and float around, he can't fly too fast during long periods of time tho.
x Fast healing: He's not invulnerable, but his wounds heal faster than the average (he still can get scars and get seriously injured)
x Cold breath: As the name says. He can freeze stuff just by blowing on it.
x Object exchange: He can summon any object he wants, as long as he knows its location, but has to give something in exchange.
He always carries some rocks, dirt, card decks, or random useless stuff on the pockets inside his coat to use them.

Personality: He used to be a very bitter and cold person, but after a time he left away all his hatred towards humanity, he noticed it
was pointless. He decided to look at life with better eyes. He's a very optimistic person, who tries to always keep an smile on his face. After
all he's been trough he thinks that the better solution for the magus/human conflict would be peace. Fights and hate only get the worst out of everyone, like happened to him.
Sadly, things aren't that easy and he knows it, he has no doubts about fighting and would do anything to protect his fellow magus.

Rafael was born on a regular family in a small town in Spain. His mother was horrified, but his father didn't mind, he was his
son after all, and he wanted to take care of his child and protect him no matter what. Both parents agreed then to hide the fact that
his child was actually a magus. When the kid grew up, they explained why he should always cover his shoulder, and why he may start
to experience unusual things happening around him, or to him. Rafael accepted it, he was a kid so he didn't make many questions,
in fact he got really excited to be something like a superhero ..??

"But you must keep it as a secret, otherwise, your powers will disappear"
That was a lie of course, it was just so the kid won't say anything.

The father didn't really "hide" his powers anyways. The man was actually a magician, you know, an illusionist, a simple human who
does tricks for entertainment. A well known one in the town too. His show was really popular and a common place for people to go
and enjoy with the family.
When Rafael got older his father started to include him on his show, first with regular tricks, then when his abilities started to show,
they both trained to make harder tricks taking advantage of said abilities. They never did nothing too "obvious", so the kid wouldn't
get in danger, but the tricks were indeed really impressive. The audience was amazed, and Rafael incredibly happy. He dreamed that
he and his dad would be someday the greatest magicians of the entire world.
The mother didn't really approve of exposing her son like that. Not only his son but herself. She always lived in fear, and the magic
show only made everything worse. She thought she was going to lose her head.

One day, the mother's worst nightmares came to reality. One of the tricks went wrong, and Rafael fell off the stage, he was about
to fall over the audience, but he stopped, out of habit, and when he noticed the entire auditorium had an horrible look on their faces,
they were staring at him, floating over the people.
Maybe they could have gotten away with the event, saying it was some surprise trick or something. But his mother who had decided
to go and see the show that night (thing she didn't do very often because of her worries) had a break down, and she started to scream.

"YES, YES, IT'S TRUE, MY SON IS ONE OF THESE FREAKS, THOSE MAGUS, IT'S TRUE,
I WANTED TO SAY IT, BUT I COULDN'T THEY FORCED ME, PLEASE, DON'T JUDGE ME, I BEG YOU, I BEG YOU!"

That was it, the show, and their lives too, were ruined. The people went crazy, they needed to get rid of the kid. Even his own friends
from school looked at him with hatred. Rafael couldn't believe what was happening.
He and his father ran away, never saw the mother again after that day. They hid in an abandoned house for a while, but they
couldn't stay there forever. The father decided that they had to leave the city.

One day, his father went out to get some basic provisions before leaving and the people caught him, but he didn't reveal where his
son was, until the very end.
And well, after torturing him for a long time, the father passed away.

Rafael was now all alone, and it didn't took too long for him to notice. He noticed that he had to take care of himself from now on.
He managed to escape and go. Wearing a hood and hiding his face, and went to another place, to start a new life.

His motivation to do all of this was a miracle tho. He felt desperate and lost, but if he didn't fight for his life, then his father's sacrifice
would have been for nothing. As for his mom, well, he really felt bad about her giving the secret so easily. He began to feel hate.
Hate for the people, the humans, those who didn't accepted him, those who killed his father, when just some days ago were praising them.
Horrible liars, cowards, like mom.

But since mom mentioned those 'Magus' that meant that he wasn't alone in this world. He wasn't the only one who wasn't accepted,
and maybe, he could find those people, unless they all had already been killed.
He needed an stable place to live first. And money.
As the years passed His negative feelings grew. From being a cheerful optimist boy, he ended up being a bitter, distant and lonely man.
He got tons of jobs, but somehow people always managed to notice what he was. They kicked him out all the time.
He kept silent anyone about giving out his secret by threatening them, claiming that they could kill them right on the spot.

When he got tired of being kicked out, he decided that if people wasn't gonna let him have a job, then he was gonna take whatever
he needed whenever he wanted. By stealing of course. The old way, because he hadn't discovered his exchanging ability yet.

He lost himself. He forgot about everything, he forgot about his dream, he forgot about finding the other Magus.
All he felt was hate towars everyone.

He got in trouble a lot, he drinked to forget, he did a lot of bad things. He ended up getting deep in the down world, and got into
a lot of fights, hence the scar on his nose. He has many scars all over his body. And even some of failed attempts of killing himself.
He was now the leader of a group of criminals, he told his comrades about his abilities, and they used them to do terrible stuff.
They started to steal gems, banks, stuff like that. Every time he was worse.

Unti one day, one of their robbing ended up failing. They were discovered by a mysterious man. Just when he was about to take
some valuable object from a museum, a young man appeared in front of him. With a strangely calm look in his face, didn't look like
someone who had just discovered a robber. Rafael freaked out and tried to attack him. He failed.

"Not a really fancy job for a Magus huh?" said the mysterious person.

Rafael, who had been floating all time, fell to the floor, and didn't understand what was happening.

"You've been trough a lot, isn't it?" Rafael didn't know how to react to that, so he answered with his regular hostility.

"Who the hell are you? I don't need this shit, leave this place, whoever you are, or I'll kill you"

The man remained calm and gave him a smile.

"My name is Eloy, and I've seen that you took the wrong path. But I am here now, no need to worry anymore.
I'll lead you to the place where you really belong"

"Don't throw this cheesy bullshit at me, what the fuck! Get lost"

But the one who got lost was Rafael, he took the object and left the place as fast as he could. Only to find that his comrades
were already caught by the police, something went wrong.
The cops spotted him and he had to fly away. That only made the situation worse because he got shot and fell on the roof
of the place. Then he saw a shadow over him. It was that guy from before, Eloy. He saw him cut himself and then passed out.
He woke up some hours later, in a place he didn't know. Eloy was around and he went to talk with him as soon as he woke up. He explained that he had brought him to the HMLS. He explained what they were and what they did, and offered a safe place, a home.

It was hard for Rafael to change what he had become but, he found himself again somehow, he found what he wanted, someone
who understood. He finally accepted the Duce's offer.
