Terribad photo. My sincere apologies. Was photographed in a hurry this afternoon on my exceedingly filthy workbench.Pole Axe Hairsticks. Wood, brass, quartz, and etched aluminum. Much lighter than they look.
And yes, I know they're not necessarily historically accurate. Accuracy was not the point of the exercise.

Nice but the photo where they are being worn is by far a better form of display. I suppose that is the fun of making wearable art, it always looks better on some one.

You can't tell in the photo, but I was totally cheating with the tweezers. I had to use rubber bands too.
