This is why Ponyville got overrun by Parasprites, and Twilight is attacked by bees so often...I think I will do a few more of these...

Seriously. I would have somepony look at that. Do they have exterminators in Ponyville? Or did Fluttershy drive them all out by making sad faces while they were harming even the smallest of animals?
I know I wouldn't be able to keep an exterminator business running for long if it would make Fluttershy cry."

In the beginning of "Dragonshy," she was feeding worms to the birds. Fluttershy is kind, but far from PETA-grade stupid. I think she knows something about predator-prey relationships.
And if you have roaches, get a gecko. That lizard will go to town on any roaches that enter the house.

I'm sorry, but you ARE aware what sort of activities PeTA dabbles in, right? They kill most of the animals they save, support terrorism in the name of "animal rights" and firebomb animal shelters.
Somehow I don't think Fluttershy would support that.
Honestly it kinda disgusts me that the only things people are cross at here are that they "criticized Battlefield 3 and Mario." that's the SMALLEST of all the things they've done.

Oh, I am most definitely not a supporter of People for the Ethical treatment of animals. I lived in Norfolk (the home of PETA) for 5 years.
The whole point of these comics are to ponify some of the groups that protest in the human world. When things are ponified, they lose some of the vitriol, and you can make fun of them.
Lets see, I done PETA, the London rioters, Unions, the Tea Party and Occupy Wallstreet, and NRA... I wonder where I will go next...

Well, alrighty then. Sorry, it's just PeTA is one of the things in this world that gets my rage-o-meter going more than pretty much anything else. As a huge supporter of the WWF and the ASPCA, I hate it when PeTA does all their crap and undermines the efforts of good animal rights supporters.

If you looked at the statistics of what PETA does and realized that they supported eco-terrorism you'd realize that Fluttershy would NEVER be a part of something like that, still a very wonderful comic WHY HAVEN'T I WATCHED YOU YET

I don't think Fluttershy would engage in terrorism, I could see her getting mad while defending the rights of rodents, and cockroaches...
Of course, ponies for the ethical treatment of animals, like many of the protest groups in my comics, only has one or two members.

Good point, I could see her getting angry but not acting on the level of hypocrisy that PETA does. Also what's interesting is we know that Fluttershy respects that NOT all animals are vegetarian and treats them accordingly.

My original version of this comic (when it was planned to be multiple panel) had the exterminator pointing out to Fluttershy that she kills animals (fish, worms, ect.) when she feeds her animal. To which Fluttershy responds that that was part of the natural cycle of life, and extermination was not. but, if he was killing the pests because he was eating them, she would be okay with that.
I couldn't make that all that funny, so I went one panel, and went with the serial, unrelated protest theme
