The body sculpt for a new doll im working on, after quite a bit of surface refining, still not completely finisehd in this pic but getting closer.The hands, head and feet i sculpt seperately, once the body was completely finisehd I cut it apart for easier casting and jointing.

Thank you,..the clay is Chavant NSP medium hardness, Its become my favorite overall oil clay, you do have to heat it to work on large pieces because its rather hard but because of its hardness it holds detail really well

Your miniature work is really good, I cant sculpt small figures at all,.. Sometimes I use Chavant and sometimes I use supersculpey firm, the sculpt in this pic was Chavant

is one cheaper than the other? Sculpey takes a pretty penny.

Oh my goodness she looks like a human!
I say that because comapred to other dolls, she's a lot more realistic in proportion and such, which is refreshing to see.
Adn the sculpt is nice, too!
