MADE 2009 SemifinalistAcrylic on Paper
24" x 36"
This is my first attempt at acrylic and I wasn't very happy about the fact that this took me two weeks to finish yet it still lacks the gradation I could have achieved with watercolor. But I'm proud that I made another big painting. You can see the details blogged at [link]
Anyway, this is a follow up to last year's entry, Red Threading. Dedicated to all the crocs out there! Thank you for viewing!

Lol the first thing I thought of when I saw the title is "Oh no! Did someone tell it Steve Irwin died?!" lol. I'm not crackin' on your pic, but I laughed when I realized how it didn't relate in the slightest to him...

The whole thing with the egg and the hidden world within a familiar object reminds me of Hieronymus Bosch's work.
First attempt at acrylics? I hate you. Mine looked like kindergarten crap. I even tossed it out after exams because I was so ashamed of it.
