Somethin I did on Iscribble.netI'm not a Great fan of the AVP movies. But I'm a great fan of the creatures Predator and Alien and I won't lose any chance of seeing them in action whenever it happens.
I could have made somethin with the backgroung but I like black and simple. Or I just got lazy as usual.
I used reference on Predator as I had never drawn him before. You can spot the image on AVP:Requiem's cover though I used a different light source.
Hope you like and take notice if the fellow next to you is really chocking...

yeah, very good bud. predators helmet is a lil' bit off shape wise but the lighting and black + white work really well.

Yeah well not even alien is exactly alien as I sort of made up some shapes so I guess I slipped a couple of details on predator [link]

would you adam and eve it, apologies. man, how toss does the alien look in that dvd cover? then again, how toss wa that film all together, i agree wi what you said about it being great to see them do new things on screen but, that bit where the guy says 'you have to... get to the chopper' had me gavomitting in the aisle.
and i wouldnt have known about the alien.

Lol yeah I know what you mean. Both movies are badly directed. Everything happens too fast, the dialogs are not catchy at all and the characters could not be less uninteresting and clichΓ©. I just find the second one more enjoyable to watch cause it has better cameras on the predator vs aliens scenes. The first one has too many close ups on those scenes which don't give you the chance to understand whatever they're doin to each other and in the end I just felt satisfied with the final scene where you can give a good look at the alien queen.
And I also hate alien on that cover.. it's an offense towards the amazing design work by Giger.

The job you did on this is amazing, as always, I love how you made a black background using white/grey for the creatures.

The movies are fun to watch (the second better than the first as for me), but I don't think they're very well directed.
