I actually have seen that guy somewhere, I think he was over at enter void.
The kind of stuff I produce for battle tournaments is incredibly different to the kind of stuff I'm planning on the side though, hah. It tends to be way more action oriented and thin on the plot side of things. That's why the shonen sort of style works really well for these sort of things.

I'm hoping at the end of this year after this whole shebang is over to work on something of my own which will be way more plot oriented and a bit more derivative of my non tournament style which has yet to develop outside of my writing, hah. I'll keep you posted.
