First off: That song... Oh my god, the singing is so beautiful! And the whole song is awesomely amazing
And the image: Oh my goodness!
I really, really like that you put this in black&white, it definitely fits perfectly with it since colors would have added a more...cheery tone than what you were aiming for.
The positioning is really quite powerful too. Since she's on her knees, it's kind of like that final toll. Since the thought of "falling to your knees" usually goes along with times where one is so shocked or so full of emotion or just fall, in ways, to admit to defeat.
I think for her -- since she also has her arms curled in to her chest, with her eyes closed and tears flowing, and her mouth open with her hair flying around her -- that it's more out of pain and loss [or maybe just the thought of loss] and really just...screaming her heart out.
*sniffles*
The lighting and shading is incredible too.
Looking at it, makes me really... feel what she's going through, it's kind of like an understanding.
I bet she'd make it through too, she looks like she could -- even in this state.
