Description
A good old-fashion tag-team mixed wrestling match has begun! For this match, it will be the stallions against the mares: Courageous "Iron" Heart and his partner Edited "Upgrade" Editon...verses Downstrike and her partner Rocki the Rockcrusher. While the stallions may face two sexy and powerful mares, we can only see who will win.So far, a minute into the fight...the mares seem to have the upper hoof.
Rocki: -Puts Edited into a bodyscissors, using her strong legs to crush his body- "So weak and pathetic! Better tap out before my legs destory you!!!"
Edited: -Gags as his body is getting squeezed so hard...feeling close to losing consciousness-
Downstrike: -Holds onto Courageous as they struggle against the other- "I know you are called Courageous "Iron" Heart...." -Grinning, she knees him in between his legs hard- "...but I doubt your balls are made of iron~"
Courageous: -Whimpers as his lower area is kicked...and feels ready to fall down onto the mat-

Ha, ha, I really like the expressions on each character especially Courageous and that crazy face he's making
I cannot begin to imagine how painful it must be to be hit in the manhood xD but I am certain it's painful and dreadfully unpleasant
but it sure makes for a humorous face and a great pose!
I also really like how Rocki has Edited pinned down and how he is about to call it quits it's quite funny and it's great to see a mare with
such powerful thighs 
I think everyone in this image is great! and I love the story premise for it all ^^

I'm sorry to say this, but ... as entertaining as it can be,
I think this is quite unfair.
Let me explain.
In the introduction (or first chapter? I can't remember) of "Equestria Rumble" ,
it is said the mares fight dirty ... yet the males seem not to do that, ever. Not even between them.
Moreover, they hardly ever seem to win against mares, even though most males wrestlers are taller, heavier, more muscular than the mares,
and that they don't have less technical mastery, less physical preparation than their females challengers.
And, in the Hall of Fame of the Arena, amongst the three wrestlers who have won the Tournament five or more times in a row,
the one male isn't an equine AND he's said to have won mostly - ir not only - because he fought mean and dirty.
There's something in all this that seems a bit too "plot convenient" to me.
It seems the mares are winning nearly everytime against males mostly because the latters are written to be helpless during the fights (even though they have everything not to be so) and to hold back, not fighting as dirty as the mares.
And when they do, they're the antagonist, mean, despicable, etc.
So, that being said, I have to ask:
why?
why are the males holding back? Why would they?

Though, I can understand your point, unfortunately, I am not the writer of this story.
He (Courageous-of-Light) closed his account not too long ago and has since updated or made new "Equestrian Rumble" stories but has given them
to his friends on DA to distribute (or they are on other sites completely).

Well, to be honest, I don't remember of the stallions doing anything else than holding back,
as they don't fight as dirty as the mares.
Is there any "rule of engagement" of their sport, written or not,
that bars them from fighting equally dirty or from parrying vicious blows?

Well, it is best WE never do...but as for Courageous and Edited...there will be MANY more mixed fights for them to come. We cna only hope they can pull through most of them and see to it they win, otherwise EVERY mare will dominate them
