Mae for =friends4ever1221 ... you waited so patiently for this .... I thought about this a lot and eventually concluded that a character who represents Hope could only be the most miserable, tortured creature on this earth. Hope is the most difficult thing to ever live WITH or without. ... She is a dieing woman with a dwindling candle who outlasts fleeting things like love and happiness. Her life is the tale of the chains that hold her up, the last horrible thing left after everything else rushed out of Pandora's box. She is left alone to carry the weight of hardships love and happiness are not strong enough to withstand.Her empty hours pass with this pain, knowing Hope was meant only to be happy someday, but never now.

>< I'm trying very hard to be alright with my pencil work. I find it difficult to post things that aren't colored, as color hides my sometimes lacking draftsmanship. mrrr....

Wow, this is so beautiful. The symbolism is so thought out, and the emotion really shows through in her posture and expression. The perspective on the chains looks fantastic, and I really like what you did with the candle light. It's like illustrative and graphic at the same time~

I liked this image... but what I really love is the concept behind it, it's amazing, and so incredibly sad and beautiful, in an awful way. -babbles-
So much emotional intensity in this picture. And don't worry about your pencil work, it's very good, amazingly delicate and almost has a luminous quality in your shading. Very beautiful
But if I may ask, how do you get such light shading scanned into your computer? I'm envious >.>
