Again, thank you. I'm truly humbled that you like it. I used to do quite a lot of steel weaponry, but the glass and crystal work I am doing now is far brighter and more colorful.

I'm glad you like my work. Over the years of my journey through many different art forms, the one thing I've learnt that I always begin with, with every project I undertake, is that everyone has their own style, and their own way of getting to the completed piece, so the best advice I could probably offer is this: Never let anyone tell you you can't do it, and always listen to the advice of those who have achieved what you want to achieve, but never stop listening to your own inner creativity, and do things the way you feel comfortable. Others may have a way of getting to the end goal that is easier, more cost effective, or even safer, but in the end, it's your journey, and only you can walk it, so stay true to your passion and never let someone else (even a mentor) squash your passion and creativity.

LOL ... I cannot give you the winning lottery numbers I'm afraid, but I am going to predict that you will just sigh and hang your head when you realize you won't be able to afford it.
To date I've only made two of them, so they are rare.

I would doubt it actually. I will probably have had my head and focus on my art for so long that I would probably not realize.

Actually, there are two of them, so not entirely unique, however, I do understand you may have been refering to the design, and I thank you greatly for your comment.

So few people work in real media these days. Damn! Where is the catalog and what is the price tag? The tag line I use for such items is "Made to Play".

BLOODSTORME In reply to Madkelt [2012-08-31 12:27:33 +0000 UTC]
LOL. "Made to Play" is certainly true, though not many people play anymore because, as you observed, there isn't much reality anymore. The price tag for Persuasion is $650.00 AU plus postage, and as for a catalogue, I guess it's my DA gallery.

I have to say, this sword is beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. If I ever were plucked into a fantasy world as I am, I'd want this blade to wield. I swear it's made for someone as skinny and as short as me. It's short, lightweight, yet lethal. I'd just need a scabbard that covered the grip. Knowing me, I'd probably cut myself on the grip.
But, this is the real world and there's no way in heck I can own that beautiful piece of art. I would either kill myself or my precious dog (and I'm not doing that. I love her a wee too much. Just a bit.) So, I think this puppy is being printed out, glued into my journal for preservation of things I love but can't have because my clothes obsession definitely gets in the way of saving up for a sword. Ha ha ha. (Besides, it would be really hard to wield a sword in a really full skirted dress, complete with petticoat, I think.)
