putting "angry eyes" on a skull makes it look lame both on makes and emblems and pictures, this mask however is the exeption when it comes to that
extremely nice work truely one in a million

Really Amazing, professional work.
How did you do the sign on forehead? Actually I'm experimenting fiberglass + polyester resign and i can't do details with.

I cast that from a mold that IΒ΄ve done first. Such markings you can achieve by using a dremel tool. Try fibreglass and epoxy resin. It has a longer cure-time but will be more impact resistent.

Thx,
that mold was a one-time throw away mold made of plaster. For another helmet I have to make a complete new model and mold, sorry

Wow. Looks really metal to me.
How did you shape the fiberglass?
Any simple DIY link perhaps?

Its sculped in clay and molded. Than cast in resin with layers of fibreglass to reinforce.

I just wanted to ask you. I really admire your work. It looks so real. ItΒ΄s really amazing. ItΒ΄s just that thing. If my english lessons were for nothing and word fibreglass means what I think it does. Then I would like to ask you what kind of fibreglass it is. I do reenactment of second half of 14th century so this material is out of qustion because we are trying to do everything according to reality. But I also do some LARP and we want to make some new armors, helmets etc. Please could you shafe few informations?

Hi, I am not very good in making tutorial and itΒ΄s a little bit complicated to ansewer your questions.
But I think you can find some very good tutorial-videos on youtube, look for " fibreglass armour or " prop armour"
