How did you do the sign on forehead? Actually I'm experimenting fiberglass + polyester resign and i can't do details with.

I cast that from a mold that IΒ΄ve done first. Such markings you can achieve by using a dremel tool. Try fibreglass and epoxy resin. It has a longer cure-time but will be more impact resistent.

that mold was a one-time throw away mold made of plaster. For another helmet I have to make a complete new model and mold, sorry

Its sculped in clay and molded. Than cast in resin with layers of fibreglass to reinforce.

yes you can. fibreglass reinforced resin is very durable.

Hi, I am not very good in making tutorial and itΒ΄s a little bit complicated to ansewer your questions.
But I think you can find some very good tutorial-videos on youtube, look for " fibreglass armour or " prop armour"
