Twitter I've finally started to read the book "Howl's Moving Castle" after having it in my bookshelf for over 3 years x) And it inspired me to draw Howl with black hair since my gallery needs more male sexyness <3
When I think about it I can't really decide if I like him the most with blond or black hair. He's so gorgeous with both xD

and to answer your question, Howl looks hotter in my opinion with black hair because it's his natural hair color and he always had to re-dye his hair blonde before Sophie came along.
in other words, Blonde was symbolic of his old life; Black is symbolic of his new life.
