Hi y'all! That's my submission for the latest Thursday Prompt focusing on landscapes. I noticed that I don't do many landscape-focused paintings, so it was a neat occasion to do one for a change. Moreover, it was the perfect excuse for studying the masters again - notably, Ivan Shishkin and Isaac Levitan's gorgeous landscapes!

Some of you may have recognized Hateno Village from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which served as a reference. I really like the charming, homely feel of this place; in fact, I've been wanting to paint a view of it for a long time. It's not an exact copy of the in-game layout, though: while the village is originally enclosed between hills and cliffs, I purposely made the terrain flatter because I wanted the image to convey a feeling of openness. I learned a lot in the process!
