Description This ring is another of my experimentations. It's all made of sterling silver and it's all fused together ... i chose to do this because once again i had caught myself in a moment of not much to do so i started to think creatively and gathered up all the little materials i had left from the school year at the metal studio. I didn't have much solder left so i decided to fuse things up for a change ... things were fused and re-fused and i got a very nice texture happening. I layered and layered and things turned out great. There was so much texture that i decided to accentuate it with liver of sulphur so you could see the depth within the texture.
By the way, this ring was created so so so long ago ... i just never got the chance to photograph it as i just recently got myself a kickass digital camera.
This ring design was so spontaneous, and i let it take its own path and this is the result!! ...i'm so happy with it. The art of recycling materials!!! and making the best of the little things you might have!

This is so beautiful! You are so right, the texture is great. It has a very abstract but somehow natural/organic feel to it. I would love to have a ring like that! And silver is such a cool metal.

Looks like a fossilized ribcage clutching a piece of time-worn stone, or uhh, decaying muscle. Maybe even looking at some verrah angry clouds on the horizon, through the ribcage. Either way, very organic, earthy and wonderful.

I like all your rings best
because they are superstylish and also ^^ wareable in normal live

can you also create wapons or design it?

i'm not shure what happens to me if your answer is yes
^^

wow! awesome as always! The shape, the cocept (or rather lack thereof ^^) and of course the texture ARE tremendous! so, is fusion bonding metal to metal with just heat and no solder? sorry if it feels like I'm trying to rob all your trade secrets, but I hope to get into metal work someday.....

anyway, I think my favourite part is the solid wire bands and the one fluke that separates from the main part of the wide part of the ring....

what everyday materials did you use if I may ask?
