This piece reminds me of Kintsukuroi, the art of repairing cracked ceramic wares with gold filling, but taking it to another dimension. The combined elements of the stone, zipper, and medley of golden seashell innards is genius. I like to interpret it as: revealing the treasure of life found within raw resources.
